Feb 14, 15, & 16 (You'll be assigned one of the three shows). Sr. Corps on Feb 16. 12:30 roll-call at McDonald's for 1:00-2:00 p.m. performance.

Feb 16 No evening rehearsal.

Sun. Feb. 22nd Massing of the Colors, Forest Lawn Burbank, Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, meet at Hall of Liberty.
Roll call 2 p.m. Program begins at 3 p.m. (See last year's photos on the Photo Album page.) Meet at Senior Center in Twin Peaks at noon if you want to caravan or need a ride. Maximum attendance. If you are meeting us there, you must be there no later than 1:45 p.m. MAP LINK: click here.

Sat, Feb. 28th Senior Olympics, Running Springs. Sr. Corps performance only Hootman Community Center behind Charles Hoffman Elementary School. 4:30 pm roll call dinner provided.

Mon., April 5: Easter Break, no rehearsal.

Saturday, May 15: Family Potluck and Colonial Dance at Community Baptist Church, 5-9 p.m.

Monday, May 24: Military Family Welcome Event, Lake Arrowhead Resort. 9:30 a.m. roll-call, Senior Corps only.

Friday, May 28: Mary Putnam Henck Middle School--Memorial Day Veteran's performance with American Legion. 2:30 roll call behind the school at the basketball courts. Junior Corps only. ***Maximum Attendance, please.

Saturday, May 29: Knott's Berry Farm. All day, details to be announced. ***Maximum Attendance, please.

Monday, May 31: Lake Arrowhead Village. Senior Corps only. 11:30 roll-call for 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. performances. (NOTE--THIS IS A CHANGE OF TIME.)

Saturday, June 5: Orange Empire Railroad Museum in Perris--Civil War Reenactment. Sr. Corps only. All day event. Sr. Corps will perform. Cancelled due to heat.

Sunday, June 13: Downtown Anaheim Flag Day, Senior Corps only.

Tuesday, June 15: Charles Hoffman Elementary School, Running Springs. 10:30 a.m. roll-call. Junior Corps only.

Wednesday June 23: Running Springs Chamber Fundraiser
Children's Forest Visitor's Center
5:30 pm roll-call Full Corps
B-B-Q Dinner $10 adult, $5 children 10 & under, corps members free
The dinner is a large part of the fundraiser. 90% of all proceeds will go directly to Mountain Fifes & Drums. Please support this great community effort. There will also be a fundraising raffle.

  • Lake Arrowhead Village performance. 11:30 roll call for 12 p.m. performance Senior Corps only. Done at 1 p.m.

Sunday, July 4:

  • Church of the Woods. 10:30 roll-call. ***Maximum Attendance, please.
  • Redlands Parade, ***Maximum Attendance, please. Full Corps, Redlands Parade & Fireworks Show
    3:00 roll-call @ Gazebo in park on University Avenue.
    Take 10 fwy east to University exit, go north under fwy
    Sylvan Park is on left side of street, look for white gazebo.
    You may want to park down by the stadium and walk back up to the parade route. Also, a wagon for hauling your stuff might come in handy.
    Following the parade we will be entering the University Stadium.
    Please bring a picnic dinner, lawn chairs, and blankets. We will have our picnic prior to the 7:00 fireworks show and concert. The city of Redlands has graciously offered corps member families half-price on fireworks tickets. They will be $4 instead of $8. Corps members are free.

Monday, July 5: Lake Arrowhead Village. Senior Corps only. 11:30 roll call for 12 p.m. performance, done at 1p.m. Rehearsal this evening for senior corps ONLY.

July 12-16: Senior Corps goes to Fife & Drum Camp in Connecticut. Here is the link to the music: http://companyoffifeanddrum.org/camp/music.html

July 16-17: Senior Corps attends Deep River Muster in Connecticut.

Saturday, Aug 7: Mountain Top Days in Running Springs. Roll call is either 9 a.m. for 10 a.m. parade. 11 p.m. stage performance.

Monday, Aug 16: NO rehearsal

August 28: Great Western Muster at Riley's Farm. All day event. 10 a.m. roll call. ***Maximum attendance.

Sat/Sun September 18/19, 25/26, Oct 2/3--Sea World's "Sea to Shining Sea Colonial Encampment." They liked us so much, they want us back! No rehearsal on Mondays following Sea World weekends.

October 23, 2004: Lake Arrowhead Women's Club Tea 1:30 roll call. 2 p.m. performance, 1 hour) Senior Corps only. Meet at the Resort, and we'll shuttle down to Burnt Mill Beach Club.

Wednesday, November 10: Veteran's Day Patton State Hospital, Sr. Corps. Meet at 8 a.m. Sr Center Twin Peaks

Thursday, November 11: Veteran's Day Parade Palm Springs. Full corps, meet at 12:00 noon at the Twin Peaks Sr Center to caravan down for 3:30 parade. Eat lunch before you leave, and bring water and money for dinner on the way home.

Wednesday, November 17: MPH Middle School Colonial Days Assembly. Junior Corps only. 10:00 roll call in front of school.

Saturday, November 20: Sunrise Rotary TV Fundraiser: Arrive 5 minutes before your time. Meet at Grandview Elementary School.

4-5 p.m. Recruits (in F&D T-shirts if possible
5-6 p.m. Junior Corps in uniform
6-7 p.m. Senior Corps in uniform

Monday, November 22, 5-6 p.m. PARENT MEETING regarding uniform needs and plans for our upcoming trip to Williamsburg, Virginia.

Tuesday, November 30, 6:30 p.m. Tree of Hope Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Mountains Community Hospital. Senior Corps, roll call 6 p.m. Honoring Mr. Garland & Mrs. Olson.

Saturday, December 4: Blue Jay Christmas parade.

Monday, December 6: Grand Illumination/ Fife & Drum Christmas Party. Corps families welcome. 5-8 p.m. Church of the Woods, details to follow. Yearbooks will be ready. Please pre-order--$15 each. Photos from September 2003 to November 2004. Bring a main dish, a side dish, and a candle in a container. There will be a talent show following dinner open to the entire family, but you must sign up and have your talent approved by Mr. Garland & Mrs. Olson. 18th century (or earlier) is preferred.
